When the green movement took hold, Carol realized that innovative companies inventing products and developing services to reduce carbon emissions would need employees. Now she sees her role as defining and clarifying the ever-evolving world of green career possibilities for professionals who want to change careers. In addition she teaches job search tactics that produce results in the green economy.

Carol has been studying, speaking, writing, and consulting on career transitions for over 20 years. Following her graduation from Purdue University with a PhD in Industrial / Organizational Psychology, she worked for five years as an internal Human Resource consultant for a Fortune 500 company, facilitating a variety of corporate transitions.

Recently she has spoken about green careers and facilitated green career panels at Solar Living Institute's Green Career Conference, Solfest, the Green Building Exchange, Acterra, the International Career Development Conference, and the California Career Development Association.
In addition, Carol has been a featured radio guest on a number of radio stations, including WBAP News/Talk 820 in Dallas TX, CBS Radio / WDSY Y108 in Pittsburgh PA, and Wisdom Radio Network.
